I love the story behind this show. WHat a score!
Howdy,
Don't know if you are getting any feedback about your show or the new mike but here is my 2 cents for what it is worth.
I noticed no real difference with the new mike but that could just be my old ears. I no longer can hear the highs on the records either.
For the show, the music is about twice the volume as when you talk so I have to crank the volume up quite a bit when you talk. Again, I don't know if that is just my system or what. I have the same problem when listening to Bill Smoker's show too. It is hard to hear you (and Bill) when you are reachin' for records etc. but that is not the problem. The volume or impedence of the input from the mike and your sound system may be a culprit but I'm no expert.
Anyways, sure like the records you found in your latest acquisition. Keep playing more please.
Hi
they where not as heavy I think as my last collection of 1200 78rpm's????
